Nutrition tip of the week #11

Do you ever want a quick meal, but want to eat something healthier than a fast food restaurant?

There are plenty of quick alternatives out there to fast food.

For example:


  • A sandwich piled with lots of veggies
  • Grilled cheese sandwich (using low-fat cheese) and tomato soup
  • Kashi frozen pizza or dinners
  • Veggie burgers (found in the freezer section)
  • Tuna sandwich
  • Whole wheat mac n cheese
  • Microwaved baked potato
  • and as always, a fresh salad
